Becoming A LinkedIn Career Coach

Excited to be connected with you on the LinkedIn Career Advice product.

The story of how I joined Linkedin helping people by coaching them in business.

Recently I received a note from Linkedin… No, not one of the 200k spam emails we get from there all the time.

This one was a window popup on the site when I logged in.

It said “Quin, Linkedin recognizes you as an expert in your field” wow! how cool is that?

And we want to ask you if you would like to help the Linkedin community by becoming a coach.

I said yes!

Now, every week they will find people who have questions related to Marketing, Private label or selling online, and send them to me.1

2 Weeks have gone by, and they have sent me over 20 people so far.

To be honest, I don’t know where they are spreading the word about this “free coach”, but I would like to know, so I could actually use the services myself by saying what other coaches are out there that know new and cool things.

If any of you readers knows how to find these coaches like me, please let me know

A great thing about this is that now I get lots and lots of great questions to use on the Podcast.

Several about marketing are already lined up 🙂

I just found this on a google search

“To get to LinkedIn Answers, go to the top navigation bar and click the More tab. Select Answers from the drop-down menu.

When someone asks a public question, all the asker’s connections receive an update with the question. If the question is private, specific connections receive a private message.”

By the way, Linkedin also has a learning section where you can watch learning videos and read about any subject you are interested in:

You can find it at https://www.linkedin.com/learning

Thanks
