Want to sell more on Amazon? Here is a quick tip on how to increase the number of products bought by a customer.

Frequently bought together

Amazon has been using for years the “frequently bought together” and this is because it works.

Over 20% of Amazon’s sales come from frequently bought together, and people buying several items to save on shipping.

Well, you should be taking advantage of that.

Go look at your own products and see what the are frequently bought with… and if the second and third product is not yours, well you are losing money.

Create a “buy one get one” campaign and offer a second product for free or give a big discount ( at this point it doesn’t matter if you will lose a few bucks)

This way when the customer buys your product bundled with your other 2 products they will very quickly become part of the 3 bought together.

If you can get your sales per customer to increase from 1.1 to 1.4 imagine how much more money you will be making.
